Portugal on Film

In anticipation of our upcoming Spring/Summer ‘22 Collection we spent a week in Portugal visiting our factories and soaking up some sun. One of the final steps before releasing a collection is the quality control process, so the Rotholz team headed to Porto to visit our jersey and woven factories to make the final checks and tweaks to ensure every hem, seam and button is exactly where it needs to be.

Our production partners in Portugal are small family-run businesses which are always a joy to visit. A lot of laughter, coffee, and Pastel de Nata’s were shared as we took a tour through each GOTs certified production facility, observing Rotholz pieces being made while chatting to the workers who make them.

Daily visits to our production partners were topped off with trips into Porto and the nearby coastline enjoying the beautiful architecture and local cuisine (we recommend the Francescinha!), and even a trip to the Estádio do Dragão to watch local football team FC Porto!
