Eco Merino Sweaters & Organic Knitwear for Women
Our sustainable sweaters and knitwear made from organic merino wool or recycled wool blends are crafted from Italian yarn. All our eco-friendly knitwear is further processed in small family-run businesses in Germany and Portugal – with over 50 years of experience.
Quality & know-how from Germany & Portugal
The two small knitting mills where all our knitted sweaters, hats , and scarves made from merino and other wool blends are produced are located in Portugal and Germany. They have been family-run businesses since the 1950s. Production is constantly monitored from the yarn to the finished product. The yarns used are continuously checked for quality. For our sustainable organic knitwear for women and men , we use cotton, mulesing-free merino wool, and other recycled wool blends. The wool is processed into yarn in Italy and then knitted into our sweaters, turtlenecks, and cardigans in Germany and Portugal. Using all these natural resources sparingly and responsibly is our highest priority.
Natural air conditioning: Merino wool
A typical characteristic of merino wool (plus organic/certified organic wool) is its temperature-regulating properties. It provides warmth while its breathability prevents excessive sweating. It is also relatively soft and lightweight. Sustainably produced merino scarves are knitted with a particularly fine weave, allowing minimal cold air to penetrate and keeping you comfortably warm even in windy conditions.
